Ballet pumps are back!

A comeback in style or a classic that doesn't disappoint?

Ballerinas on the catwalks in 2024. This comfortable and practical shoe, a favourite of all Parisians, has caught the eye of many fashion designers. Mary Jane ballerinas with one or more straps around the ankle are making a big comeback. Neither the classic models with a rounded toe nor those with a bow are lagging.

Their reappearance shows one thing - fashion and functionality must go hand in hand. Inspiration also comes from the recent breakthrough trend of balletcore.

Ballerinas are not just an ordinary elegant shoe

When and with what to wear them, you ask? The answer is: everywhere and with anything! Ballerinas are the perfect alternative to elegant shoes. They go great with skirts, dresses, shorts and jeans. They complement both casual urban style and formal outfits. At the same time, they are very comfortable, so you can easily cope with all the rigors of a normal working day. They will not disappoint during a walk around town, shopping, a trip with girlfriends, or on vacation. Since they don't take up much space, you can pack several pairs straight into your suitcase.

A timeless model is elegant black ballet flats that stand out in an all-black outfit and combination with colourful pieces. The soft beige models are the perfect complement to a monochrome look or tone-on-tone outfits. Try beige ballet flats with a black toe, blue jeans, a brown sweater and a handbag in the same shade - so simple and so effective. Another classic that never disappoints is the contrasting combination of black and white. Bright ballerinas with cream trousers, a black leather belt, a light top and a long black sweater look very chic. An outfit perfect for cold spring days.

So that every woman can find her

Ballerinas thanks to their uniqueness and diversity. Among the different pairs every woman will find her own. So, will it be leather or textile ballerinas? You can choose from simple black and fancy pink, cream and beige models. There are also pieces decorated with a tiny bow or a metal buckle. Perforated ballerinas are also popular, adding glamour and elegance to your feet.

Is there anything they don't fit?

As with any shoe, some pairings just don't fit. We don't recommend pairing them with bell bottoms. You would look cumbersome in such an outfit. Don't wear them with an evening gown either. Ballerinas are an everyday shoe and special occasions like, for example, pumps.
