The Gabor brand produces high-quality footwear and it is one of the leading companies in the footwear industry. In addition to fashionable novelty, it offers you comfort and high-quality footwear processing.

In 1949, Bernhard and Joachim Gabor founded the Gabor company and opened their first shoe factory in Barmstedt near Hamburg. Like every beginning, it was kind of challenging. They got their first sewing machine Singer 34 in exchange for their father's gold pocket watch. Their initial orientation was clear – to have "shoe for everyone." They came to the scene with new sole processing technologies that even shoemakers in America didn't dare to start. In 1960, Gabor was the first to offer steel heels. In short, their production technologies have been constantly advancing. Quality, elegance and comfort have guaranteed the Gabor brand that it has become known throughout Europe. Since 1996, Gabor has also has fabriques in Slovakia.

Changeable insoles in Gabor shoes are available in various versions: Especially light and comfortable insoles made of leather or with the Ultra Flex Air System made of state-of-the-art materials. With the Ultra Flex Air System, ventilation ducts ensure controlled air circulation and a healthy climate for your feet. Some models are equipped with the Shock Point concept: it is an additional cushioning element in the heel for walking, which is natural for ankles.

Changeable insoles can be removed when ventilating or washing shoes. They also do offer a special advantage to those who want to use special orthopedic insoles, as the included insoles can be easily replaced with orthopedic ones. The shoe does not narrow the foot space even with orthopedic insoles.
