Size systems

Size systems differ mainly according to the use of size units. The following numbering systems are widespread in the world:

French numbering (EUR) - unit size 1 French stitch (= 6.6 mm, half number = 3.3 mm)

English numbering (UK) - 1/3 inch size unit (= 8.4 mm, half number = 4.2 mm)

Metric numbering – unit size 1 cm

Due to the use of different size units, deviations arise when recalculating. In principle, however the following applies:

Measure foot size quickly & easily at home

If you want to avoid ligature marks and sore feet, it is best to measure your foot size before buying shoes. This can be done very quickly and easily using the available tools.

Approach:

• Place your foot on a tape measure, ruler or white paper.

• Measure the length of your foot from heel to toe.

• Only in exceptional cases do both feet have the same length. Therefore, we recommend measuring both feet and using a longer length to calculate the correct shoe size.

• The shoe should ideally sit well and firmly on your feet at the back and there should be enough space at the front. If the shoe is large, it may interfere while walking.

• We always recommend trying the shoes before buying. In the case of an e-shop, you always have the opportunity to return shoes that do not fit you within the set deadline.
