Fashion design born in Alicante

Hispanitas is a traditional family business that still produces fashionable footwear in spanish town of Alicante. The name Hispanitas originated in 1989 from the original name of the ballerina "Francesitas". Hispanitas is currently sold in reputable locations in Barcelona, Madrid, Paris, London and New York. The emphasis of Hispanitas shoes is placed on a unique fashionable design and high quality. When creating individual collections, the designers are inspired by the latest fashion trends, which adapt to the individuality and values of Hispanitas shoes. The most important elements of production include the so-called hooves, which are key to the resulting comfort and convenience.

Precise production of Hispanitas

Hispanitas modelers design and modify their hooves themselves, which guarantees maximum comfort of this brand. Subsequently, the Hispanitas design is transferred to the hoof by experts, in the first step by drawing with a pencil and then by scaling.

The leather of the shoes is carefully selected by experts. Fine leather is natural, genuine and we call it transparent in the footwear industry. Fine pigmentation is used to dye the skin, which keeps the skin soft and comfortable for wearing.

The oldest and traditional form of Hispanitas footwear production is chopping leather. Trained experts process leather and "cut" dozens of smaller pieces from it.

Subsequently, the individual parts of the leather are sewn on traditional sewing machines with quality threads and the leather edges are trimmed so that they can be stretched on the hooves.

Both traditional and modern methods are used in the production of Hispanitas footwear, guaranteeing the highest quality degree.

During the hoofing process, either cooling machines or heating devices are used, which ensure that the skin fits on the hoof and subsequently allows the sole to be attached to the upper. The sole and heel are connected with millimeter precision and are ready to be attached to the upper of the shoe.

Softness at the end

The leather is treated with special creams and brushes to ensure its saturation, softness and flexibility. This process of "cleaning" gives Hispanitas footwear its clarity and lasting characteristic appearance.

Hispanitas emphasizes the aesthetic design of every single shoe. In the last production step, special irons, tweezers and scissors are used. The shoes are wrapped in tissue paper and reinforced to keep their shape even during the demanding transport into your hands.
