 EFFICIENT PROCESSING

Leather is the main element of the Pikolinos collection. Pikolinos shoes are defined by the quality with which they are made: comfort, durability, uniqueness, culminating in a handmade master finish under the slogan "Naturally Good" (natural beauty).

Pikolinos uses the highest standard of cowhide leather treated with natural elements and dyes. At the Pikolinos tannery, in the province of Alicante, the hides are processed by special production techniques. 

These techniques involve in-cylinder heat treatment. The result is soft and pleasant to the leather material, which is so characteristic of Pikolinos shoes. During the dyeing process of Pikolinos, natural and water-based dyes are applied without the application of solvents, thus preserving the original essence of the leather and saving the environment. The dyeing process is followed by the process of leather drying, which takes place in the same natural way. 

Pikolinos leathers are dried at room temperature, thus retaining their natural shade, color and properties. In the production process, each Pikolinos model is treated with natural waxes and creams in the finishing phase, giving the leather its unique typical shine.
